Data storytelling provides a way to share your data insights, whether they belong to a larger discussion or the main topic.

The purpose of data storytelling is to turn data discoveries into a story. Emphasizing important elements helps create convincing stories and supports stakeholders in decision-making.

Data storytelling lets you combine reporting, presentation, and exploratory analysis techniques to create and collaborate. You take snapshots of your discovered data to use in stories composed of slides. Snapshots can be enhanced with effects. This lets you emphasize the data insights you want your audience to focus on.

As you tell the story, you can answer questions by switching to a snapshot's source and accessing live data. This guides your story to new directions, triggering new conversations and deeper insights.

Storytelling becomes interactive by inserting live data sheets in slides, and making selections while presenting.

The story

In data storytelling, you use a story to collect and present insights and ideas to your audience. A story is presented as a timeline of slides. It can be based on traditional data storytelling structures, such as a three-act play or a hero’s journey.

Stories are contained within an app. A story is connected to its app, so you can return to the live data anytime, to discover new and hidden stories.

To build a story you use time-based snapshots of your data visualizations and live data sheets and place them on the story’s timeline.

You can, for instance add text and shapes, put emphasis on certain insights with visual effects, apply styling, and so on, to make the story compelling and engaging, and its purpose very clear.

You can export the story if you want to present it outside of Qlik Sense .

, Making stories compelling and Exporting a story .

A snapshot is a graphical representation of the state (type and data) of a data object at a certain point in time that you can use when you build stories. The snapshot you take is a copy of the state. This means that the state of the snapshot does not change when the state of the corresponding data object gets updated.

Snapshots capture individual objects on a sheet during the analysis process. They store the visualization and data as you see it at that time enabling you to use them at a later point in time to tell a story. Each snapshot contains a bookmark back to the original context so that you quickly get access to the live data.

When you take a snapshot you can make an annotation for your snapshot. The annotation helps you distinguish between the different snapshots in the snapshot library when you build your story. The annotation is not visible when you play the story.

The pull method for SurveyGizmo's MailChimp Action allows you to use your MailChimp contacts' subscriber details within your SurveyGizmo surveys.

When pulling contact data from MailChimp into SurveyGizmo, the survey will need to be able to identify the contact whose information should be pulled in. This is done by providing the contact's email address.

Pull Action Placement Requirements:

Pull Data from MailChimp

When mapping SurveyGizmo Questions to MailChimp list fields there are a couple of requirements to ensure your integration works properly.

There are two default required fields in MailChimp. In addition, list fields may be set up as required MailChimp by the list creator.

The default required fields in MailChimp are Email Address and Status. Status has possible values of subscribed, unsubscribed, pending, cleaned. Whenever your MailChimp action may result in the creation of a new record (insert and upserts) we will add these fields by default.

For both the push and the pull it is important to ensure that your SurveyGizmo Discount Exclusive Order For Sale Ambra Womens Boots Kennel amp; Schmenger 8Ljoguf
and question validation settings are compatible with the DRESSES Long dresses Emilia Wickstead 2018 Cheap Online Best Seller l2gMVL
in MailChimp.

For example, MailChimp's default Birthday list field includes a month and day only (in either MM/DD or DD/MM) format. As such, you cannot map the Birthday field to SurveyGizmo's Date question to this field. Instead, you should pull this information into a Textbox question. If you require validation on this field you'll need to use RegEx to validate for month and day (or day and month).

If you are using MailChimp Groups (aka Interests) you can push and pull from these as well!

You can push data from either a Radio Button or Checkbox question to interests.

Let's take the following example groups in MailChimp: Donating, Volunteering, Events.

We could push a similarly formatted Checkbox question.

We can push three Radio Button questions, one per group, like the below example.

Requirements for Pushing to Radio Button questions

You can pull data from interests to populate a Radio Button or Checkbox question.

These can populated from a pull into a similarly formatted Checkbox question.

We can populate three Radio Button questions, one per group, via a pull (see below example).

At the very least, Email Address and Status (with a value of either subscribed, unsubscribed, pending, cleaned) are required to create a new contact record in MailChimp.

Make sure that an email address was provided in your survey and that the email address was mapped to the Email Address List Field in MailChimp. Make sure that you have also passed over a Status. Learn more in the Mapping Fields Section of this tutorial.

Design embedded in people’s lives is the overriding theme of Helsinki’s World Design Capital 2012 year and events. Helsinki approaches design from a broad perspective, and design underlies all processes that bring about social, economic and cultural improvement. Design Forum Finland promotes Finnish design in Finland and abroad. It arranges exhibitions, creates publications, runs the Design Forum Shop, distributes information and awards prizes. Design Forum Finland is maintained by the Finnish Society of Crafts and Design, which was founded in 1875 and forms the second-oldest design organisation in the world.

The Design Museum, previously the Museum of Art and Design, records the history of design, maintains a collection of objects and arranges a variety of exhibitions, some of which also tour internationally. The roots of the museum also reach back to the 1800s: the first objects for the collection were purchased in 1873. Today, it comprises 35,000 objects, 40,000 drawings and 100,000 images. The Arabia Museum in Helsinki, which focuses on ceramics, and the glass museums in Iittala and Nuutajärvi are also part of the Design Museum.

The Finnish Glass Museum, located 50 kilometres north of Helsinki in Riihimäki is a national specialist museum focusing on glass design and the history of the medium. Other museums that document Finnish handicrafts and applied art include the Craft Museum of Finland in Jyväskylä, 270 kilometres north of the capital, and the Alvar Aalto Museum, also in Jyväskylä. The famous architect and designer’s studio and house are located in Helsinki. Fiskars Village, a centre of art and design 100 kilometres west of Helsinki, also arranges exhibitions and events.

Finland boasts a large number of design-related educational institutions. The University of Art and Design Helsinki, established in 1871, is among the best design schools in Europe and one of the most respected in the world. Today, it is part of the new Aalto University. The University of Lapland’s Faculty of Art and Design forms the centre of design education in northern Finland. Among polytechnic-level schools, the best known is the Institute of Design in Lahti, 100 kilometres north of Helsinki.

The interests of Finnish designers are promoted by the Finnish Association of Designers Ornamo, established in 1911. About 2,400 design professionals belong to the organisation, including industrial and interior designers, craft and textile artists and fashion designers. Graphic designers have their own association, Grafia, established in 1933. (AV)
